Go Maruyama has worked at various Murata companies since 1998, joining pSemi in 2017 as its vice president of corporate planning. Before that, he served as the director of marketing and business development for Murata Investment Co. in Shanghai where he oversaw all marketing communications activities and was responsible for new business development in emerging markets, specifically automotive, healthcare and energy. He has also held the role of general manager of the sales department for Europe and U.S. customers at Murata Shanghai Trading Co. From 2011 to 2013, Maruyama was the senior manager of corporate planning at Murata Manufacturing Co.’s headquarters in Kyoto, Japan managing corporate-wide cross-functional team activities such as restructuring management system and budgetary process reform. Maruyama was product manager in the application-specific capacitor department at Fukui Murata Manufacturing Co. and assistant chief in the corporate planning department at Murata Manufacturing Co. Since 2018, Maruyama has served on the board of San Diego-based technology startup incubator EvoNexus.
He earned his MBA and a master’s degree in information technology from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Keio University, Tokyo.
