In the May issue of Microwaves & RF, technical editor Jack Browne writes about Peregrine’s three automotive switches in an article titled, “Switches Handle Heat of Automotive Applications.” The product feature begins by stating that there is an increased demand for wireless components in automotive-electronics applications. Peregrine’s three automotive switches, the PE42359, the PE423422 and the PE423641, meet Grade 2 AEC-Q100 requirements, meaning qualification for operation in the temperature range of -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The article offers technical details on these three switches including frequency range, insertion loss, isolation between ports and package size.
