Sales veteran to lead company’s global customer expansion
San Diego, California, July 18, 2005 — Peregrine Semiconductor, a supplier of the industry’s most advanced RF CMOS integrated circuits, today announced that Brian Hurst has joined its executive management team in the role of V.P., Worldwide Sales. Hurst has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience including executive positions at industry leaders Cyrix and Transmeta Corporation, as well as National Semiconductor and Intel. He brings to Peregrine Semiconductor extensive knowledge in developing strategic sales relationships with top tier electronics OEMs as well as a strong background in establishing marketing alliances with semiconductor industry leaders.

Hurst was formerly V.P., Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Anadigics, a market leader in GaAs-based RFICs. Prior to joining Anadigics, Hurst was V.P. and General Manager of Sales and Marketing for the Americas at National Semiconductor Corporation, a leading supplier of analog and digital semiconductor products, and V.P. of Worldwide Sales for Transmeta Corporation, a supplier of advanced microprocessors for notebook computers. Hurst’s career also includes sales positions at Quantum Corporation and Intel Corporation. Hurst has an executive graduate degree in international marketing from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. degree in marketing from the University of Texas.
